After a spectacular debut, Kevin O’Leary’s new wine brand continues to dazzle the palates of wine enthusiasts. O’Leary Fine Wines announced today that its wines were awarded two medals in the 2012 InterVin International Wine Awards – in addition to the “Best Value” accolade announced yesterday.
The 2010 Cabernet Merlot took home a silver medal, while the 2011 Unoaked Chardonnay received a bronze medal, marking a very strong debut for the newly launched label. The acceptance of these awards, in addition to the previously announced Best Value award, grants O’Leary Fine Wines a total of three valued distinctions from the InterVin International Wine Awards Competition.
“Our team worked hard to create terrific wine at a great price,” said Kevin O’Leary, founder of O’Leary Fine Wines. “I am very pleased to see O’Leary Fine Wines gaining so much recognition so quickly.”
Kevin O’Leary is widely known for his starring roles on ABC’s Shark Tank, CBC’s Dragons’ Den and CBC’s Lang and O’Leary Exchange. His wine label, O’Leary Fine Wines, launched in 2012 in partnership with Vineland Estates Winery.
